Hello and welcome to our twelfth annual Women! A Week Long Celebration. We hope you will join us for what has become Baton Rouge's premier event for women. This year's theme is "Women Staying Connected." Our celebration runs from September 27 – October 6, 2013.

Our annual Women’s Week Kick-Off Luncheon will take place on Friday, September 27. Doors open at 10:30 a.m. for Activity Fair with luncheon and program from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Boudreaux’s in Baton Rouge.

The purpose of Women! A Week Long Celebration, introduced in 2001, is:

• To provide a forum for discussing issues that are important to women including healthcare, education, family, community, economics, business, sports, arts and humanities;


• To strengthen the bond among women in the Greater Baton Rouge area;


• To showcase and share the strengths of women and women's groups;


• To explore the role of women in shaping our community;


• And offer fun and interesting activities for women.
